Who can apply?

Micro and small enterprises that:

• have at least 1 closed, full (365-day) business year
• had an average annual statistical headcount of at least 1 employee in the last closed, full (365-day) business year preceding the submission of the grant application,
• are single-entry bookkeeping entities with registered office in Hungary, sole proprietors, or double-entry bookkeeping business associations, sole proprietors, sole-owned companies,
• plan to implement their project in one of the four most disadvantaged regions (Southern Great Plain, Southern Transdanubia, Northern Great Plain, Northern Hungary) and/or in the municipalities of the Free Enterprise Zones (SZVZ) (the site must be registered as the applicant’s registered office, site or branch at least 180 days before applying),
• are not subject to the KATA tax regime

When can the grant application be submitted?

From 29. 04. 2025, 17:00 until 30. 04. 2026, 16:00

Which activities are eligible for support?

• Purchase of new equipment and machinery, establishment of new technological systems and capacities (at least 35% of the total eligible project cost, mandatory activity! Each item must be at least net HUF 500,000)
• Real estate investment (modernisation, expansion) (optional, cannot be supported as a stand‑alone activity, RENOVATION IS NOT ALLOWED!)
• Information technology development (optional, cannot be supported as a stand‑alone activity, may not exceed 50% of the total eligible project cost, each item must be at least net HUF 200,000).
• Activities supporting the professional implementation of the project: project preparation, project management, general (overhead) costs, consultancy services (mandatory, cannot be supported as a stand‑alone activity). The flat rate set as a percentage is: 7%

How much funding can be requested?

Min.: HUF 5,000,000 – Max.: HUF 30,000,000

Non-refundable grant, 50% aid intensity! Up to 50% of the grant amount may be requested as an advance payment!!!

The maximum total eligible project cost may be equal to the net sales revenue according to the annual financial statements of the last approved (by general meeting, members’ meeting or owners), closed, full business year preceding the submission of the grant application!

Is own contribution required for the project?

Yes, at a minimum rate of 50%.

 Micro and small enterprises

Which activities are eligible for support?

Business process innovation activities of enterprises:

• innovation activities related to production and manufacturing processes;

and/or

• marketing and/or sales innovation activities;

and/or

• organisational innovation activities (administrative and management development);

and/or

• logistics innovation activities;

• Activities supporting the innovation project (project management, mandatory publicity, horizontal activities, overheads)

THEREFORE, BASICALLY, THIS IS NOT A GRANT FOR EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT!

How much funding can be requested?

minimum HUF 20,000,000 – maximum HUF 50,000,000

Is own contribution required for the project?

Yes, at least 30%

How much advance payment can be requested?

30%, up to a maximum of HUF 15 million

What is the time frame available for project implementation?

The physical completion of the project must take place within a maximum of 18 months from its start.

Grant applications may be submitted under this call by:

Micro and small enterprises:

i. that have at least one closed (supported by financial statements), full (365-day) business year (the period of operation as a pre-company does not count towards this);

ii. whose average statistical headcount in the last closed, full business year prior to the submission of the grant application was at least 3 employees;

iii. which are double-entry bookkeeping business entities with a registered office in Hungary;

Mandatory activities to be implemented, which are not eligible on their own:

a) Investment related to business process innovation;

b) Project preparation activities (use of innovation consultancy services for project preparation; costs of up to 40 hours can be accounted for; the innovation activity must be presented in a maximum of 8,000 characters, with mandatory elements specified in the call for proposals!);

c) Activities supporting the innovation project (project management, mandatory publicity, horizontal activities, overheads; LUMP-SUM support of 7% of the total project
